All of us needed a new tv but didnt like to pay in order to much. Looked around at the different offers but decided to go with the following tv. It was a very good choice the television is excellent. I understand other lenders comments plus it made my family laugh whenever they said how small the television was, i thought what made that count on its 23 inches, but My group is now having my words they are correct the television does seem small! Not the wrong thing I recently expected it that they are larger than the previous tv there were. I think its since this tv does not have much surrounding plastic its literally just the screen and thats why is it seem small. The solely few issues We’ve with the item are that is needed a minute or possibly even longer for the television to occur and this guide is certainly white on black having small text so but if the not sitting near the tv it is usually hard to read simple things, but they are really the primarily problems i have found other than we definitely highly recommend this television for computer to everybody and everyone.

Review is From toshiba 42sl417u : Got toshiba 42sl417u 3 weeks back, after the intial learning curve TV working nice. image (5 star): nice image Bright and sharp, give a sony a run for its money internet TV (4 star): after the intial learning curve, worked seamlessly after hooking up the wifi. Had to decision Toshiba client service to learn how to use internet TV ( was not terribly intutive). They were paitent and gave good recommendations on using cyberspace TV functionality. Netflix is nice, however missing Huluplus Compatiblity: Hooked ATT Uverse and Sony Blu ray HTS and tv worked perfectly fine with the U-verse remote. Sound (3 star): as good as any samsung or sony in this class. however home theatre system is needed for good sound, which is true for other TVs conjointly. Software Update: didn’t have a lot of freezing of image after s-w updates as said in other posts. Update was straightforward once wifi was put in. in the first hour of operating the TV once the TV froze and it had been random clicks on buttons, in all probability part of intial anexity and learning curve. A decision to client service and could handle the remote better. Overall, nice image, compatibility and have for the value.

toshiba 42sl417u OK One last update: returned this T.V to store and bought another T.V. all together. This T.V may be a complete joke, TV would shut down and back on with nothing happening. No manner am I buying one thing that simply turns off all by itself. Even firmware updates should resolve issues if this can be the case.
As mentioned my laptop speakers have higher sound than this TV and therefore the people are wrong you should be able to expect higher sound from a skinny TV if my laptop will sound sensible and loud than a TV should sound like i am in a concert hall. No additional amplification or stereo should be needed. My laptop sound truly drowned out the sound from T.V.
(previous Update) OK an update to my review. Like others I even have to agree the degree on this factor is simply atrocious. Toshiba should be ashamed of the degree level for this T.V. nearly no bass what therefore ever even at the highest setting. I went too 100 on volume and it was still weak volume. Any outside noise almost drowned out the sound, my laptop has manner higher sound. I even watched a movie off laptop and therefore the sound was louder on my laptop then on tv. Read more
